A photo of Mary D. Lang Kindergarten Center

For students in Chester County's Kennett Consolidated School District (KCSD), a bright future begins at Mary D. Lang Kindergarten Center.

The Kindergarten year is critical. During their full-day program, students develop foundational skills, nurture a sense of self-confidence and create community.

Mary D. Lang’s team of 25 highly educated and qualified staff empower nearly 300 of the district’s youngest learners to succeed throughout their entire academic career.

In addition to individualized instruction in the core areas of language arts, math, reading, science and social studies, students at Mary D. Lang explore art, music, physical education and more! Each day students have the opportunity to apply their learning through purposeful play.

We are also proud to offer comprehensive support services including in english language development (ELD), gifted education, guidance, hearing therapy, mental health counseling, nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, special education and speech therapy!
