Expectations and Agreements

We combine Responsive Classroom and Restorative Practices with the belief that meaningful
relationships form the cornerstone of discipline and academic success. We strive to create a safe, nurturing environment where every student feels valued and connected. Through strong
relationships, we foster trust, mutual respect, and a sense of belonging, which allows students to
thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.

The Day Begins

Each and every day, we begin with a Morning Meeting, a critical component of our approach.
During Morning Meeting, students come together as a community to greet one another, share
thoughts, and engage in activities that build trust and empathy. These moments not only set a
positive tone for the day but also reinforce the values of collaboration, respect, and inclusion.

In our school, learning goes hand in hand with joy. When students feel connected and engaged,
they are more likely to succeed. By emphasizing relationships and belonging, we ensure that
