Beginning this morning, Monday, September 12th, we will serve breakfast every day. The cost of breakfast is $1.50 for those who do not qualify for free or reduced lunch. Please let your child know if he/she should eat breakfast at school. It would be helpful if you checked your child’s account activity to monitor purchases. You can create a School Cafe account by clicking on Food Services and following the step-by-step instructions.
Our Book Fair begins Tuesday, September 13th. Students will visit with their class during the school day. The Book Fair will also be open for shopping during Back to School night on Thursday, September 15th from 5:00-6:00 p.m. and 7:00-8:00 p.m. For additional information and to create an eWallet account, please visit our book fair homepage at: https://www.scholastic.com/bf/MDLKC. Last but not least, this Thursday night is our Back to School Night for parents. The start time has been changed to 6:00 p.m. When you come to this event, you will visit your child’s classroom and learn all about the exciting learning that will occur this year!
