Love is in the Air!

Dear Parents/Estimados padres de familia,

We will be exchanging Valentines in school on Monday, February 14th. The Valentine’s Day Card exchange at school is a very special event. In order to make it fun for all of the children, please be sure to provide your child with cards for every member of the class.  It might be a good idea to give your child several days to write all the names on the cards, doing a few cards each day. It can be tiring for a kindergartener to write 20 names in one sitting. Please also have your child write his/her own name in the “From” section of the card. Candy is not permitted.

Counselor’s Corner with Mrs. Phillips

We are all aware that it is a stressful time for everyone. Whether you are working remotely or away from home, things are still a little different for most families. The same is true for our youngest learners. We are adapting to their needs emotionally, socially, and academically.
One way we are hoping to provide assistance outside of the school day is by having a “Family Tip of the Week.”

As always, we are in this together. We appreciate all of the love and support we receive from you and your home. We hope to reciprocate that feeling by sharing some of our strategies with you.

Please enjoy the video below about the Calming Toolbox.
