Kindergartners Prepare for a Trip to the Theater

On March 9th, the entire school will be getting on buses and heading to see Frog and Toad All Year at Copeland Hall at the Grand Theater located in Wilmington, DE. Prior to the great adventure, students will be learning about Frog and Toad and many of Arnold Lobels’ stories!

“A hit on Broadway, A Year with Frog and Toad was nominated for three Tony Awards, including Best Musical. Featuring a jazzy, upbeat score that bubbles with melody and wit, this whimsical story follows two great friends – the cheerful, popular Frog and the curmudgeonly Toad – through four, fun-filled seasons. Waking from hibernation in the spring, Frog and Toad meet interesting new friends, plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding, and learn life lessons along the way. Part vaudeville, part make-believe, all charm, this is a story of friendship that endures, weathering all seasons.”
