Since 2022, the Mary D. Lang Kindergarten Center staff have come together each year to hold a Pink Out in memory of their beloved colleague, MaryJo Gorcyca. A cherished educator and creative spirit, MaryJo inspired countless young learners through her passion for teaching, her imaginative art projects, and her love of hands-on science. Her classroom was a place where curiosity bloomed and joy filled the air.

This year’s Pink Out carried her spirit forward, with students and staff celebrating her lasting influence. Kennett High School senior Quinn shared, “Mrs. Gorcyca was one of those standout teachers I will always remember.” MaryJo’s legacy continues to shine brightly in the hearts of those she taught and the colleagues who honor her with love and pride.
