At Mary D. Lang Kindergarten Center, we believe clear and consistent communication is essential to building strong partnerships with families.
Principal Communication
- The principal will send out a monthly newsletter to keep you informed about school events, updates, and important information.
- Additional updates will be shared via email and phone blasts as needed.
- Teacher Communication:
- Teachers will connect with families using Talking Points, email, and phone calls.
- Please note: Talking Points messages should not be sent during the school day, as teachers are actively engaged with students and may not be able to respond promptly.
How to Address Questions or Concerns
- If you have a question or concern, please contact your child’s teacher first.
- If additional support is needed, the principal is available to assist.
- We are committed to keeping the lines of communication open and working together to ensure a successful year for your child!
Problem Solving Procedures
Often parents like to know the best way to solve a school problem. Many times parents go "to the top,” only to discover that they will be relayed to the source of their concern. It would be beneficial to school personnel if you would have as much data as possible available about your concern. In all cases, parents are urged to begin at step one and only move to the next level if the concern is not resolved.
