Welcome to the Mary D. Lang Kindergarten Center! It is our firm belief that children need a strong educational foundation on which to build the rest of their academic career. We focus on readiness skills in reading, writing, speaking, listening and mathematics using a concentrated approach based on the PA Common Core State Standards. We present high quality, research-based instruction. Our teachers work in pods in order to collaborate for instruction, data analysis and support. We also coordinate our efforts with the District’s three home schools (Bancroft, Greenwood and New Garden) so that our students continue to meet with future successes in the Kennett Consolidated School District.
Realizing that parents are their child’s first teacher, we encourage active parent involvement in our classrooms, the library and with planning and implementing school wide special events.
Our goal is to work together to build strong Kennett students and a strong Kennett community!
