Robert Fulghum’s poem “All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten” encompasses our philosophy at Mary D Lang Kindergarten Center. We have a balanced educational program that is focused on the whole child with experiences designed to expand the mental, physical, emotional, and social development of every student. Our teachers deliver rigorous, differentiated instruction that is aligned with the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s Early Childhood Learning Standards and the Common Core Standards. We also work closely with our elementary schools (Bancroft, Greenwood, and New Garden) to ensure a smooth transition and future success.
Parents are welcomed with open arms in our classroom, library, and with the planning and implementation of school-wide special events.
Our goals are to communicate and collaborate with all stakeholders, build community, and most importantly, create a love of learning that lasts a lifetime!
